Prepare for the expanded PCWP NESHAP requirements

EPA’s 2026 amendments to the Plywood and Composite Wood Products NESHAP establish requirements for previously unregulated or incompletely regulated process units and HAPs. Existing sources have until July 6, 2029, to comply. New or reconstructed affected sources that commenced construction or reconstruction after May 18, 2023, must comply by July 6, 2026, or upon initial startup, whichever is later. This makes it critical to begin now to confirm applicability, evaluate new emission limits and determine a testing strategy.
