Dave is a licensed engineer with over 20 years of experience in water treatment and environmental remediation. Dave focuses on the use of novel technologies for the removal of emerging contaminants such as PFAS and carcinogenic volatile organics from the environment. Before this, he spent 22 years in the United States Air Force as an environmental engineer and occupational health consultant.

JP Verheul

Senior Chemist / Technical Solutions Team Lead

JP Verheul is a senior chemist and a business development manager for Onterris, bringing more than 18 years of experience with analytical chemistry for environmental samples to the role. Currently, JP evaluates market trends to help optimize analytical programs, and routinely supports complex projects from various industries, including solid waste, landfill gas and biogas, commercial and industrial wastewater monitoring, drinking water supply, air emissions, site assessment and remediation, and emerging contaminants.

With a rich background as a former Director of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Hazardous Waste Cleanup Division and leadership roles in environmental consulting firms, Jorge offers a unique perspective on nationwide environmental challenges. Jorge is widely recognized as an industry leader and expert in emerging contaminants, specifically per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Associate Principal Chemist

Gary Yakub has nearly 40 years of experience in the environmental field, with a career spanning laboratory analysis, quality assurance and environmental consulting. He specializes in corporate environmental liability issues and currently provides laboratory accreditation assistance, compliance audits, environmental data validation, and document preparation and review. Drawing on extensive laboratory and QA/QC experience, Gary brings a deep understanding of analytical methods, laboratory operations and regulatory requirements.
